At the Comserve Group we feel it is very important to give something back  to the community and we are proud to be involved with some local organisations and groups.







Newport Pagnell Meerkats

Encouraging and supporting youngsters to become a part of a sporting team should be high on everyone's list of priorties and we are delighted to be the 2011/12 sponsors of the boys' U8's football team, the Newport Pagnell Meerkats. 

The boys play seven a side in the Milton Keynes and District Development League and have been playing together for the last two years. Following the start to the season, Team Manager, Neville Dobson said, “ Thank you for sponsoring our new football strip. We hope it will last us for the next two seasons – so the name of the Comserve Group will be on display every weekend around North Bucks/Bedfordshire. At our first match I received several comments on how impressive the new kit looked.”

We hope that their new Comserve Group kit will help them on their quest to the top of the league this season.


Herts against Cancer

We were recently one of the sponsors at the first Anniversary ball of a new charity ‘Herts against Cancer’.  A year ago local Mum of three, Sue Harkness, was involved in starting this charity. Herts against Cancer is dedicated to finding innovative ways to improve the rates of prevention and early detection of cancers. We lag woefully behind other countries in this area and even the Government have recognised that there is work to do here. Sue’s motivations stem from sharing difficult times with loved ones and friends who have lost family, from nursing her Mum and from her own brush with skin cancer.

The ball was a celebration of the charity’s first year and nearly 300 people joined together at the Luton Hoo Walled Garden to lend their support to this great cause.  Nearly £20,000 was raised on this evening alone – a magnificent sum and thanks to many local companies and supporters, one that really can make a difference.  For more information on the charity, please visit their website, www.hertsagainstcancer.com
