Our aim is to provide maintenance and and installation services of a consistently high quality. To enable us to achieve this, we employ more than 80 staff, the vast majority of which are highly skilled engineers. These are complemented by our head office and management team who operate within a well-established administrative structure and combine many years experience with an understanding of our customer's needs.

We enjoy one of the highest retention rates in our industry sector. This ensures continuity of the service enjoyed by our customers. Moreover we believe that by training our staff we improve the level of customer service and hence our profitability.

Training

At Comserve we recognise that our staff are absolutely key to the continued success and growth of the business and are the company's most important asset. To ensure that we retain and develop our staff we provide a high level of training. All staff performance is reviewed every six months and key personnel undergo new product training as required.

We continually develop our engineers’ skill-base to ensure they are able to deal with all technological developments on the equipment we service, install and maintain. Training includes manufacturers' courses, City & Guilds, health and safety awareness i.e. safe handling of refrigerants, risk assessments etc. This enables us to maximise the use in-house personel on a wide variety of installation and maintenance work thus reducing our reliance on sub-contractors.

In order to develop our skill base we are committed to a modern apprenticeship scheme. We propose to employ at least one apprentice a year to join existing apprentices who are training to be electricians, air conditioning and combustion engineers.
